Nexium Control 24HR is used for the short-term treatment of obesity. It is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by decreasing the release of appetite-suppressing substances (e.g., fat in the food pipe) that cause appetite. Nexium Control 24HR works by controlling the activity of the enzymes (PPAR-γ and PPAR-1) that promote appetite and suppress the hunger response in the brain.

Esomeprazole is a member of the class of drugs known as diuretics. Esomeprazole is used to treat conditions such as congestive heart failure, liver cirrhosis, and nephrotic syndrome. Nexium Control 24HR is taken once daily. You should take Nexium Control 24HR exactly as it was prescribed for you.

Nexium Control 24HR will help you sleep better. It may also help you notice the improvement in your mood. In addition, you may feel less hungry or more full when you start the treatment. Nexium Control 24HR is only for people who have had a heart attack or a heart failure, liver disease, or kidney disease. To help you sleep, it should be taken at the same time every day, and your doctor will tell you when to take it. It may take up to 3 weeks to feel the full benefit of the treatment. How to use

Nexium Control 24HR may take a few tries. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take two doses at once.

If you are taking your medication at the same time every day, you should wait at least 14 days after your last dose before taking this medicine. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Nexium Control 24HR is not intended for use by children. However, this medicine may be harmful to the developing baby if used during breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor about the best time to take this medicine for your baby.
