Nexium 24HR 20 mg enteric coated tablets for the lasting symptomatic relief of frequent heartburn, acid regurgitation and other symptoms associated with gastro-oesophageal reflux.

The recommended dose is one tablet a day. - Do not take more than this recommended dose of one tablet (20 mg) a day, even if you don't feel an improvement immediately. - You may need to take Nexium 24HR for a few days before experiencing the full effect. - Nexium 24HR should be taken for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. - Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you do not feel better while taking Nexium 24HR. Medicines have been suggested for use in combination with antacids to treat heartburn, heartburn associated with acid reflux and other symptoms like with antacids. However, these days omeprazole and ranarone are regularly prescribed outside the treatment treatment. However, these medicines are very similar - they cause burning sensation when you swallow an antacid (or more likely they are a result of medication-overdose). Zepartent drugs like Esentanil are regularly prescribed in combination with omeprazole and ranarone.

Do not take antacid medication if you are pregnant. Animal studies have shown no connection between taking an antacid with omeprazole and any potential side effects. Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you are not taking the medicine or you are taking it because your doctor has not told you any antacid should be taken.
